Sketch Factor

SW WIND 15 KT...BECOMING S 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT...BUILDING TO 6 FT. NW SWELL 9 FT AT 9 SECONDS.
The Sketch Factor...
There are plenty of places to Surf in Oregon that have it...
And for lots of different reasons...
Sea Lion haul outs next to a perfect reef breaks...
Jetty peaks with a reputation for sharkiness...
Long hikes in with no opportunity for communication...
Big surf pounding and grinding into cliffs or giant cobbles...
Inescapable rips pulling you to Japan...
Sideshore troughs that won't let you reach shore...
Rivermouths teeming with baitfish andwho knows what...
Offshore monoliths being circled by sleek submariners...
Miles of empty beach break surfed solo by few...
