He's added a second keel block section...
The plank came from a tree out of Newport...
Dims are 7'10" long, 1 3/8" thick & 15 1/4" wide...
The impetus for creation of this board per Speelyei...
"I just happened to have [the wood]..."
"...some extra time..."
"...the tools, and..."
"...no resources to do anything else."
