I guess some maps depicting the North West include a small portion Northern California usually at the Humboldt Meriden, but most depict the real PNW starting at the Oregon border. Similar debates have been sparked over whether San Francisco or Santa Cruz is truly Northern California and really Central. Not to get all technical on ya, but I am a geographer ya know and think about dumb stuff like this often. Either way the last time I surfed this spot someone get munched by the landlord the day after and it is equally cold, fickle, and sharky so……
