It's Happened Before...

W WIND 10 KT. WIND WAVES 1 FOOT. NW SWELL 6 FT AT 9 SECONDS.

It'll Happen Again.
This motorboat made the trip last week...
From Portland (per the writing on the stern)...
To the south end of Oregon's northwind go to...
Easy 100 plus miles or so...
As the river flows...
Anyone know the story...
On this modern day nautical disaster?
Anyone break out the Breeches Buoy?
Build a signal fire?
Shoot off the flare gun?
Were all hands saved?

I was told they actually motored out of Nehalem Bay. Why they decided (?) to beach it at shorties was a little unclear..
