NW WIND 15 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT. W SWELL 4 FT AT 9 SECONDS. TONIGHT NW WIND 15 KT...EASING TO 5 TO 10 KT AFTER MIDNIGHT. WIND WAVES 2 FT. W SWELL 4 FT AT 9 SECONDS.
Hoping to scratch into a few this week...swell is supposed to build a bit early in the week...staying around 5 to 6 feet
...5 or 6 feet...well in recents post in Swaylocks and in a couple of blogs, I discuss about wave height...for me 6 feet is almost 2 OH or 2mts, you know start of bigger waves...
5 to 6 foot in Oregon translates to chest to head high...no doh for that forecast...and even then, if you hit a south facing beach, 5 to 6 could drop to waist to chest once it wraps around...but then again, given a solid period and the right angle, it could bump to some oh peaks...Oregon's quirky that way
