No Fool

NW WIND 20 KT. WIND WAVES 5 FT. NW 9FT AT 9 SECONDS.
I actually got a call this morning...
"Hey! Surf's Up! It looks pretty good."
I thanked them for the info and hung up...
I would add that they don't surf...
I called another friend that does...
"How's it looking?" I asked...
"Terrible" was the answer.

I had some friends who would always ask me why I didn't surf NorCal on summer afternoons when it was blowing snot, and there were "lots of waves".

really its a love hate relationship. If its hundreds of miles offshore you love it. If its blowing snot on the break you hate it.
