Wind Waves...Bah!

SE WIND 20 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 5 FT. W SWELL 7 FT AT 11 SECONDS.

I'll take some 5 foot wind waves...
Especially if they look like this.

Yesterday the forecast for a portion of the Washington Coast I care about was 12 at 12, 25-20 knot winds, small craft advisory, etc. I went to the Y for a workout and a swim. The TV in the gym was tuned to NWCN. NWCN was leading to a break with a live frame cap of the break shown in your vid cap above. Uniform lines of of headhigh rights, peeling in schralpable unison. It made me sick to my stomach.
