Hitting It


SW WIND 5 TO 10 KT...VEERING TO NW 5 TO 10 KT IN THE AFTERNOON.
WIND WAVES 1 FOOT.
NW SWELL 7 TO 8 FT AT 9 SECONDS.

It's nice to see consistent ground swell above 4 feet after a long summer of waist high waves. Even a variation in the north wind this morning...changes are afoot!

nice image, where did you find it? Surfing OB, it was really the Finnegan article that blew the lid off OB. I first surfed there in 92 or so, and there would be 30 guys in the whole 3 mile stretch of beach. By 1999, before the TSJ article you would see up to 500 on a clean small day.
