Local Report:
...arrived to the obvious and closest N. Coast, N wind sheltering spot with three regulars already on it. There were rights and there were lefts and they all peeled. At first they were head high and the 7' swell started coming in with some even nicer rides. The wind began as a offshore wisp and gradually became a NW nuisance which concluded the best session we've had in a couple of months. ~pra

fxSpent the last 3 or so days over on the NoCo entertaining the in-laws. Great weather but gutless and I don't really LB nor did I have mine, so groveled up the beach north of the main peak alone for 2 days. Found a couple 3 pump slashers, but nothing to get to excited about. Yeah the water was warm, yeah I surfed without booties, yeah it was glassy, but still not much action. Couldn't even muster a few local friends to paddle out with me. Slammed in the Seaside skate park which is tighter than a drum with no room for error. Hurt and slightly hungover didn't even bother yesterday. SS was and most of the coast was zooed to the max by 10 when I drove by. Friends gone for Mainland Mex today and one in Fiji, me broke, me work, argggggg.

A beach to the south of a certain long and skinny cape was clean and head high plus for the tide push yesterday afternoon. About 5 surfers in the water at any time. Beautiful day - felt like Hawaii with 60 degree water...
