Fishing

NE WIND 20 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 4 FT. NW SWELL 8 FT AT 9 SECONDS.
I haven't posted in a couple days...
I was busy wrestling with a 30 pound Chinook...
Got shut out surf-wise on Wednesday, rain & windiness...
Went fishing on Tillamook Bay on Thursday...
And was lucky to hook a big one...
Beginner's luck.

Score! Thought about fishing this weekend myself as the fishing may have been better than the surf? Haven't heard the best fishing reports, but now I'm wondering? Never did fish though, spending heaps of time chasing a carrot that really was not there. Found a good uncrowded hole along the way offering some small but fun offshore beachies, but really from what I saw the surf as with the fishing was marginal and crowded at the popular spots.
