Zero Growth

N WIND 20 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 5 FT. NW SWELL 8 FT AT 10 SECONDS.

I was reading a post on the OSP tonight...
For those of you that don't know what it is...
It is the Oregon Surf Page...
The post was about the lack of new members...
Members besides "Free Viagra" and "Giant Penii"...
The poster (who I know & respect) offered the opinion...
That the new registration protocol has stymied new surfers...
I pondered that possibility and came up with my own conclusion...
Surfing is done...
It is a colassal waste of time...
And people have finally recognized it as such...
It is the only explanation for my solo surfs of late...
So remember and dont take offense to my longstanding advice...
If you don't surf, don't start.

The OSP is dying because...
Well, you know.
19 weekend warriors who know everything there is to know and each other...
And two or three 'locals'.
Fuck'em. kooks, all of them.

Thought it was the quite opposite, if ya post on the OSP, you don't surf, so not sure about the conclusion of zero growth.

Quite the surf bonanza last week. Fri, "It really all just came together today...", couldn't agree more! Glassy afternoon goodness at a hucking sandbar. Sacrificed my last few trips to gamble and asses, which finally paid off hugely. Found a few familiar faces who have been thinking the same, still Pleanty to go around.

Sat crapola early, chosed and tossed.

Yesterday we rolled down avro as 1/2 the valley funneled out (more evidence debunking your conclusion, sorry). Soft tops and boggie boards, long boards and potato chips, picnic baskets, coolers, and dogs. Shredable and well shaped staple lefts with a few friends and a kick ass sunset to wash it all down.

Thinking Spring has sprung.

I registered for an account 3 weeks ago and my account is still inactive. I must surf too much to hang with the cool kids.

This is almost as good as the old OSP.....

New membership on the OSP is in direct proportion my average post count.

You know it, I know it, everyone knows it.

And yes I do surf...well....I sort of remember it anyway.
