With 9 age divisions...
The top six finishers in each division...

Are you kidding me???? My husband spent a month in Sumatra, Indonesia with our youngest son for our 25th wedding anniversary! No big deal. :)

Missed birthdays (yes, Costa Rica. Same son, same reason), anniversaries, or any set date can be celebrated anytime, right? But waves don't have calendars.

I have been married 22 years...
Live a 100 miles away from the water...
Generally surf twice a week...
But have to deal with the unreasonable whims...
Of a non-surfing spouse...
