N WIND 20 TO 25 KT. GUSTS TO 30 KT DURING THE EVENING. VERY STEEP WIND WAVES 6 TO 8 FT...HIGHEST IN THE EVENING. NW SWELL 3 FT AT 11 SECONDS.
NOAA is forecasting "VERY STEEP WIND WAVES"... I don't think I've ever seen that forecast... I hope they're right... But I have a feeling I'll be doing more fishing... Than surfing this holiday weekend.

i was gonna say, that in all my years (really though relatively limited, and like any of you care) that i have never read "steep wind waves."
