Frequency


SW WIND 10 TO 15 KT...EASING TO 5 TO 10 KT IN THE AFTERNOON. WIND WAVES 3 FT. W SWELL 3 FT AT 16 SECONDS.

I've long said "If you don't surf, don't start"...
Albeit, tongue in cheek for the most part...
But here's another reason to stay outta the water.

From the Surfline article:
There are simply more of us than there are sharks, and we're flooding them out of their environment. We enter the sea pretty uniformly in very particular areas: shallow spots less than two meters in depth, which is a good place to be a shark. Bobbing around where they're trying to make a living, our activities can look a lot like the next fish. And looking at the growth in surfers' numbers, all this is fairly predictable.
